About Ojulu Island Saviours Foundation (OISF) is a community driven initiative specifically for empowering island communities through sustainable development. Rooted in the heart of Sigulu Island, Namayingo District, Uganda. Our mission is to promote environmental sustainability, ensure access to clean and safe water, and advocate for innovative education through advocacy and awareness.
We believe a healthy environment and informed communities are key to long-term transformation. OISF prioritizes creating health awareness by promoting the use of clean water, while also nurturing the next generation through inclusive, innovative learning opportunities.
Our efforts are mainly focused, compassionate, and driven by the vision of a greener, healthier, and better informed Islands. We Believe in the motto of ‘’Every Village at a time’’
We work hand-in-hand with local leaders to Community members to build resilient communities through trainings.
We plant trees, protect natural resources, and promote eco-friendly practices to combat climate change and preserve the island’s beauty for future generations.
We advocate for clean water systems, helping reduce health issues and promoting better hygiene in households and public Places
Through advocacy and hands-on programs, we empower the Island Communities with life skills that prepare them for a changing world.
We educate communities on health risks like unsafe water and disease outbreaks, and advocate for better healthcare access for the elderly in island communities.
OLSF is a proposed community organization dedicated to improving the lives of people on islands, particularly focusing on the Sigulu Islands in Namayingo District, Uganda.
OLSF aims to provide access to clean water, enhance educational opportunities, improve health services, stimulate local economic activities, and elevate living standards for island communities.
OLSF collaborates with local communities, government agencies, and international partners to implement innovative programs and initiatives tailored to address the specific challenges faced by island residents.
Island communities face challenges such as limited access to healthcare facilities, educational resources, clean water, reliable energy sources, and poor infrastructure. OLSF recognizes these challenges and works to address them.
OLSF is committed to transparency and accountability in all its operations. The organization regularly publishes reports on its activities, finances, and impact, and welcomes feedback from stakeholders to ensure continuous improvement.
